Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Reply Pilots. Can't find it? The team is a message away.
Getting started
What is Reply Pilots?
A Chrome extension and dashboard that drafts your comments, DMs and posts inside Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Reddit — grounded in your business and written in your voice. You send every message yourself.
Do I need to be good at prompting?
No. You tell it what you do and how you write once; after that every reply is a single click on the post you're already reading.
How long does setup take?
About ten minutes: install the extension, sign in once, and fill in your business and voice. Your first draft lands in under a minute after that.
How it works
Does it post for me?
Never. Reply Pilots drafts and you send — there is no publishing integration and nothing goes out on its own.
Does it read the whole thread?
It reads the post and the comments visible on screen when you ask it to, so your reply answers the gap instead of repeating what's already been said.
Which tasks can it handle?
Comment replies, DM replies, full posts with hashtags and image prompts, plus rewrites and summaries of text you select.
AI & models
Which platforms does it work on?
Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Reddit and Gmail today, with more on the way.
Can I use my own AI key?
Yes. Add an OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or OpenRouter key in Settings and choose your model. Runs on your own key don't spend Reply Pilots credits and have no ceiling.
Chrome extension
Do I need API keys to install it?
No. The extension is built for your account and authorises itself — there's nothing to copy or configure.
Can I switch it off on a site?
Yes. Mute Reply Pilots on any site for an hour, the rest of the day, or until you turn it back on.
Privacy & security
What does it read, and when?
Only the page you're on, and only when you ask it to draft. It never reads in the background.
Do you train on my data?
No. Your posts and drafts are yours and aren't used to train any model.
Pricing & plans
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime; a change applies on your next billing cycle and your settings carry over.
Do unused credits roll over?
Your monthly allowance resets each cycle; credits you buy on top roll over and don't expire.
Is there a refund?
Monthly and yearly plans can be cancelled anytime and stay active until the end of the paid period. Lifetime licences come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
